Today we will practice listening on the computer. open up the american idioms softward. Use it for a while. Write down any new idioms that you learn. Then use at least 4 of the new idioms to make a short story. Go to the Ananova site and listen to some of the stories by the video robot. Can you understand her? pick out a story that she did and with other people (at least 2) make a news cast that tells the information of the story. Try to make it look real. Don't forget that you should have at least 1 cut away "on the scene" report. What do different English accents sound like? Are they easier or more difficult for you to understand? Go to the world radio page and find some broadcasts from Australia, Enland, and Texas. Which is easiest to understand?
